Lately, it feels as if rappers are actually collaborating with XXXTentacion more, now that he's passed away. Today, X has already appeared on a new single featuring Lil Pump, Swae Lee, Skrillex, and Maluma. Last month, he was on a Lil Wayne song; he'll soon be popping up on Kanye West's Yandhi. Tory Lanez is likely to join the ranks of collaborators, having previously confirmed that a Triple X collaboration had been recorded for his album. Though initially set to appear on Love Me Now?, it would appear that sample clearance proved an insurmountable obstacle for Fargo and his team.

"When I tweeted it, I was very excited about the record," says Tory, on Big Boy's Neighbourhood. "The record's a very dope record. But the clearance and the business side didn't let me clear it in time. Hopefully we get to get it out soon so everybody can hear it. It just didn't make the deadline for [Love Me Now?]"

After, Big Boy asks if Tory ever feels like his talent goes unappreciated. "Yeah," he admits. "I do feel like that. All the time." Though we're still waiting for both the interview and album to drop in full, the hour is nearly upon us. It's unfortunate that business happened to get in the way of Tory and X's collaboration, though we'll choose to remain optimistic that it will one day surface.
