Toronto Police Investigating Blue Jays Fan Who Threw Beer At Orioles Outfielder

The search is on.

During last night's American League Wild Card game, a Toronto Blue Jays fan chucked a can of beer at Baltimore Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim as he tracked a fly ball on the warning track in the bottom of the 7th. 

Orioles center fielder Adam Jones was outraged, and rightfully so, after his teammate was almost pegged with a can of beer and was hopeful that authorities would catch the rogue fan. 

Jones said in the post-game:

“I hope they find the guy and press charges. He’s not looking. You could hit him in the back of the head and you have no idea what could happen. That’s a full beer that’s being thrown."

The fan was never apprehended, but Toronto Police have announced that they are actively searching for the culprit and they reportedly have a good idea of what he (or she) looks like.
