Top Dawg On TDE Almost Signing Troy Ave: "Fake News"

Top Dawg confirms that Troy Ave's connection with TDE was all a lie.

Days after Troy Ave dished on an alternate timeline in which he almost joined Kendrick Lamar & Schoolboy Q on the TDE roster, Top Dawg himself took to Twitter to deliver a harsh slap of truth and set the record straight:

"4 the record... I've never had a convo with Troy ave or any 1 in his camp.. neither has KDot.. yesterdays story was fake news..." tweets Top. "There's your answer...Now everybody kan stop calling and emailing me asking if it true..."

Ultimately, it's hard not to see how Troy doesn't take an L on this one. The Nupac rapper claimed that Kendrick reached out while he was in jail, but Top denies that any such encounter ever happened. As of now, Kendrick has remained silent on the issue
