Tony Yayo joined the party of New York rappers taking on 90s boom bap classics the other day with "Ebonics," a modernization of Big L's slang lesson. Today, he's gone for perhaps an even bigger record, resurrecting the "Eye For An Eye" beat from Mobb Deep's sophomore album, The Infamous. Of course, the original was a crew track, featuring both Nas and Raekwon. Yayo's remix doesn't possess the same star power, but Deadeye and E-Troubz supply some gritty and impressive bars either way.

We're not sure if we'll be hearing any original new music from Yayo anytime soon, but for the time being, we're more than happy with this series. Listen to his last freestyle here.

Quotable Lyrics:
And I got chips on both shoulders
Soda box in the range rover
And I never had a crossover
Fuck the green courts, my work is in the baking soda
