Mother's Day 2019 may be gone, but it's never too late to celebrate those special ladies. Earlier this week, tobi lou issued a different Mother's Day gift by sharing an ode penned to his mother with "LIKE MY MOM."
Naturally, the track earns its fair share of replay value beyond the holiday and finds tobi resorting to a signature style to deliver on a bouncy and addictive track in which he recalls all the qualities of his that are inherited from his mother as he repeats: "I was good in class like my mom/But I still whip your ass like my mom."
In the short clip that accompanies the track, tobi recites his lyrics from the door of a minivan, a clear reference to his "whipping out the van like my mom" line.
