Tiffany Haddish has been casually winning over audiences with her honest, outspoken demeanor; a rarity as a celebrity. Whether or not she's had media training, her personality in public makes fans identify with her. After watching her present an award at the Oscars with Maya Rudolph, fans took to social media to suggest Haddish host the event next year. Tiffany has heard your pleas and says she agrees.
During the premiere of her new series, The Last O.G at South by Southwest the comedian revealed, "At the end of the day, I would love to do something like that. That would be a dream come true. I know my father would be extremely proud if I got to do that. As long as I get a paycheck.” Fans can sleep easy knowing that Tiffany would be interested in hosting the A-list event, should the opportunity be presented to her.
Continuing to share her thoughts, she revealed that a hosting gig would be nice because she didn't get paid for presenting the award. “In my mind, Maya [Rudolph] and I, we auditioned for the ultimate job because I thought we was getting paid for that presentation,” began Haddish. “And then I found out we didn’t get paid, then I was like, ‘I heard about gift bags.’ And then they were like, ‘We don’t got no gift bags,’ And then I was like ‘Well what do I get?’ and they [said] ‘We got a bottle of wine that’s like $13.’ So I had to buy the wine.” We need to rally together for Tiffany so she could come out of the show with a paycheck, or at least a gift bag or two.
