This past weekend, Hollywood's A-listers congregated at the Dolby Theatre to celebrate filmmaking excellence at the 90th Academy Awards. The star-studded affair was a melting pot for the established celebs as well as those on the rise. Actress/comedienne Tiffany Haddish has been quickly making a name for herself. She's also landed on Jamie Foxx's radar. Foxx took to Instagram to proclaim Haddish's greatness.
During the Oscars, Foxx was celebrating his friends on Instagram through a series of black & white photos. In addition to congratulating Jordan Peele on his win, Jamie shared photos of himself with Jay Z, Kobe Bryant, Daniel Kaluuya, Chadwick Boseman, and Mary J. Blige. The final photo from that weekend featured Haddish and Drake with the caption, "#oscarnight #blackandwhite it was Gods plan to run into these talented individuals... @tiffanyhaddish the new queen of comedy... and the young Canadian @champagnepapi the #billboardbully #blessed."
One can tell Jamie was excited to see the successes of the two stars. On top of the acclaim from the comedy great, Tiffany was also celebrated for her Oscar presentation with Maya Rudolph. After the duo announced the recipient of best documentary short, fans took to the web to get the comediennes to host next year's award ceremony. Let's hope Twitter's influence is strong enough to get these ladies back on stage next year.
