Tidal Plummets In App Store, Loses Kanye West's Support

Jay Z's Tidal streaming service falters in the Apple App Store and Kanye West deletes his tweets in support of it.

A little over three weeks since its highly-publicized launch, the Jay Z-owned streaming service Tidal is looking more and more like a flop. After the CEO of the company was fired last week, Tidal's popularity and support from celebrities seems to be fading now.

For starters, Billboard reports that the app has now fallen out of the Apple App Store's top 750, and is only at number 45 in the music app category. Then there's the fact that Kanye West has apparently deleted his tweet that supported the streaming service, screen-shotted in the gallery above.
