According to the AP, three men, including a father and son, have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 15-year old Trinity Gay, daughter of Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay.

Trinity was reportedly shot in the neck at around 4am on Sunday morning after gunfire erupted between two groups in parked cars outside of a nearby restaurant called Cook Out in Lexington, Kentucky.

The AP reports

"Dvonta Middlebrooks fired multiple shots during the incident, Lexington police investigators said Sunday. He was charged with wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. A father and son were also charged Sunday. Chazerae Taylor, 38, and his 19-year-old son D'Markeo both face wanton endangerment counts, police said in an online statement."

Both vehicles sped off following the shootout and investigators believe Trinity Gay was an innocent bystander with no connections to those involved in the altercation.
