No break-up blues for The Weeknd. In a new video that has surfaced the "Starboy" singer is seen getting his grind on with a certain gyal, where he waves at the camera. We posted just yesterday that the singer, whose first name is Abel, broke up with his girlfriend of 10-months, Selena Gomez.
The video was reportedly taken at a Toronto nightclub last night during a launch party for 21 Savage, Offset and Metro Boomin's new album, Without Warning. Sources tell TMZ that Abel does not have a new girlfriend or any leading lady, he's just simply enjoying the single life - clearly ready to mingle.
There has been no video evidence of Drake attending the launch party last night in his home city. If we did see Drizzy at the party with Abel in attendance, it would give us a definite answer as to whether the rumours about Abel being salty towards Drake are true.
As we reported earlier, sources have told The Daily Mail that tension has risen between the two Canadian stars since Drake is reportedly dating Abel's ex-girlfriend, Bella Hadid. The issue is mainly around the fact that they run in the same circles and have friends in the same crew. Apparently, homies who are mutual friends with the two are being forced to "pick sides."
The dating rumours between Drake and Bella have not yet been confirmed by either party, but if it stands to be true, Bella is clearly a fan of some dope Canadian talent.
OVO signee, Majid Jordan, recently spoke highly of Drake's name when the duo said the love that's shared between those on the label is all thanks to the ones who founded it.
"We have a bond and I think a lot of that comes down to the strength of the people who founded the label and thought everything through, Majid said to Billboard Magazine. "From the artistic side to the personal side, we're all people who share the same ideals and the same respect for ourselves and our respect for others. That translates because we're such fans of one another."
