In other Weeknd news, he's been steadily dropping off hints and low-key teasers to his upcoming album Chapter VI. The last clue we received was a photo on his Instagram feed that showed different drawings of his face, each with a different colour that represented his past albums. The colour for his upcoming album is purple, which means the album's artwork or theme may be based on that colour.
Abel announced his new album when he was performing in Toronto last month during his Hxouse Live launch. "Being in Toronto these past two days, I haven't been this inspired in years," The Weekend admitted to the adoring fans. "And I want you guys to be the first to know I'm working on my new album right now."
No word on a release date, but we're ready when he is.
