The Weeknd and Bella Hadid dated for about a year and split up in 2016 but apparently, the pair are still friends. The singer and model were in Tokyo this weekend, partying at a couple different spots in the city.
First, they hit up the Robot Restaurant, a flashy place where you can eat, drink and watch performances by people in robot costumes and on Tron bikes, with blaring music and Imax-like light shows. Abel and Bella were accompanied by La Mar Taylor, the Weeknd's creative director, and Reza Fahim, the owner of Tenants of The Trees, an LA cocktail bar. After the Robot Restaurant, the group moved on to a karaoke bar, where they wore pikachu onesies and sang, among other things, Michael Bolton's "When A Man Loves A Woman." The evening was documented on The Weeknd's Instagram Live.
The Weeknd is taking a much-needed holiday after releasing a six-song EP, My Dear Melancholy, in March and an accompanying clothing line only a couple of days ago.
