While The Underachievers' most recently album Evermore - The Art of Duality, dabbled in the psychedelic sonic realm, the duo's new mixtape It Happened in Flatbush is strictly bangers. This is due in part to the presence of Ronny J, who honed his production through his collaborations with Denzel Curry and is now establishing himself as one of the foremost purveyors of hip hop bangers in the game.
Ronny J produced "Gangland," which begins with a flurry of bells that sounds like a medieval town ringer announcing the invasion of a foreign hordes. Then the bass drops and all hell breaks loose.
