The longstanding rumor of bad blood boiling between The Rock and the Fast and Furious regulars has all been confirmed by the man himself. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the Rock makes a strong allusion to a discordance between him and Vin Diesel creating tense moments on set. This confession comes amid conflicting reports about atmosphere on set, many regarding The Rock as a dream to work with. One of the directors The Rock worked with in the past credit his athletic background with his 'coachability.'

The Rock did not hold back during the last week of filming The Fate of the Furious, lambasting his co-stars several times over social media, labeling them as individuals who fail to "conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals" and who were "too chickenshit to do anything about it. . . . Candyasses."

When pressed for more insight into the situation by Josh Eells, The Rock offered this simple explanation:

"Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer, and what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating."

On top of that, it is believed that a majority of the scenes incorporating The Rock and Vin were filmed separately. Sometimes you've just got to let go.
