Sterling K. Brown will make this movie amazing.

The Predator is shaping up to be one of the goriest films of the year. The soft-reboot takes place right after Predator 2, official axing the following Predator films' histories. Shane Black is directing the film, which is a step up from his role in the original Predator movie, where he plays a character who dies at the hands of the alien. Black will be using his patented sarcastic humor (Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) to add some light-hearted fun to what will be a bloody thrill ride. The latest trailer for The Predator just dropped, and Sterling K. Brown takes the spotlight as the badass government official with the wit to match.

The new trailer starts with Boyd Holbrook's character being detained by Brown, and he meets a group of ex-soldiers while being transported to some type of lockup. The Predators begin to show up though, and Holbrook and his new crew must face the deadly aliens and save Earth. Throughout the trailer, fans get a glimpse of the new Super Predator, who is created when the regular Predators use all their acquired hunting knowledge to create a master hunter.

There is also a moment where Brown names the aliens "Predators." "We took a vote, 'Predator' is cooler," jokes Brown after Olivia Munn's character tries to call the alien a sports hunter. In the midst of all the battles, the sinister alien's pet dogs, called Hell Hounds, are unleashed and explosions decorate the bloody forest. The Predator hits theaters on September 14.
