The trio known as The Outfit TX, a leading force in the new Dallas rap scene, has dropped another video from their summer mixtape Green Lights: Everythang Goin', which has been revisited with critical praise on a number of year-end lists. The new video is for one of the standout tracks, "Bear Necessities," an all-Dallas affair, featuring newcomer Diego Money and produced by the duo of Stunt N Dozier.
The video begins with Mel, Hawk, and Dorian about to begin a day's work of trapping tires at the auto-body shop, when they're approached by a group of women who have been tracking them via social media. They briefly ponder the immediate temptation as well as future drama, then decide to get back to work. As luck would have it, the women in question are happy to act as video girls. The Hamm's tire store is a fitting scene for The Outfit, as there's always some elbow grease involved in these boys' hustle. Diego Money shows up later in the clip outside of a local Chinese spot.
