After years of producing for some of hip-hop's hottest up-and-comers, DMV natives The Other Guys have officially released their debut studio album Seeds of Ambition. A standout track from the new LP, the self-produced "Blow My Mind" features a hot new verse from frequent collaborators Tanya Morgan.
Seeds of Ambition is being distributed by HiPNOTT Records, a label founded by acclaimed music blogger Kevin Nottingham in an effort to give great artists an avenue of digital distribution. As such, the record is not available on iTunes but rather directly through the label's band camp with a name-your-price option (although their is an eight dollar minimum). If you like what you're hearing, support indies and pick up the album legally.
