Nike never forgets about its roots, even as it continues to evolve. They stay true to that statement by releasing a new Nike Air Max 1 Ultra in the OG "Varsity Blue" colorway.
The Air Max 1 Ultra looks very similar to the standard Air Max 1. However, Nike uses its modern construction practices to design the shoe with a one-piece upper, rather than the multi-panel construction of the original Air Max 1. The single piece construction reduces the weight of the shoe, and (arguably) increases the comfort as it fits more like a sock. The color blocking is left the same for a true "OG" feel.
The "Varsity Blue" is one of two original Air Max 1 colorways. The other is a white and "Sport Red," and both are available at select retailers now.
