The New Royals are a multi-faceted group consisting of DJ Khalil, Liz Rodrigues, Chin Injeti, and Erik Alcock-- they are producers, songwriters, singers and more, hailing from all parts of Canada and the U.S. They've taken to the spotlight today by enlisting Jay Elect for "Minutes of Moog." While we're often inclined to refer to Jay Electronica as elusive, you have definitely see him pop up quite a bit in recent times, giving us new hope of his almost-mythical album Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn) may see the light of day in 2014?

To recap what Jay has delivered lately: he surprised us all by teaming up with Jay Z for a "We Made It" freestyle, as well as "Better In Tune With The Infinite." Today he's delivers some typically nice/abstract bars over the electronic-tinged production from The New Royals, alongside soft female vocals courtesy of Liz Rodrigues. Shout out Mass Appeal for the premiere.

Quotable Lyrics

You the type of nigga I imagine puffing nickles with
You the type of figure that they padded the scriptures with
Jay the most treacherous set banger
Electronic neck wrangler
JVC stereo cassette mangler
Flyer than the jet, but little kid in the jet hanger
Take two of these and text me
Your rainbow nails impress me
You kinda sexy
She said Jay I'm yours
I been screaming for the past three days, I'm hoarse
She was spinning like she never seen waves before
So I gave her a boat and an oar and got her safely to the shore
She said she never believe in Moses at all
