The LOX have been a force to be reckoned with since the 90s, but they largely went their own ways later in their career. Recently, they've decided to unite once again, and the chemistry they had in their heyday is still very much present. They've made the smart decision to stick what they do best, rather than adapt to the times, delivering the same hard-edged boom bap we've come to expect from the trio.
"Bring It Back," while referring to the beat in the song, is an apt title for what the rappers are doing, but as OGs their aesthetic never feels overly nostalgic.
