Drake premiered a new track in Amsterdam earlier today, and it wasn't long before the triplet flow he uses on the new record began to inspire debate. Quite a few Twitter users heard a resemblance between Drake's new flow and that of buzzing Florida SoundCloud rapper XXXTENTACION, though it wasn't a unanimous opinion.

XXXTENTACION, for those unfamiliar, is a rapper out of Broward County, Florida (the same hometown as Kodak Black) who has amassed a loyal SoundCloud following through his abrasively noisy take on trap. The rapper is currently in jail for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend, according to Pigeons & Planes.

Though XXXTENTACION is behind bars, a tweet was sent from his account today acknowledging the similarities between XXX and Drake's flows. The rapper's manager is said to be in charge of his social media at this time.

One user points out that Drake followed XXXTENTACION earlier this month, so it seems that he is familiar with the Florida rapper's music.

On top of XXXTENTACION, Lil Uzi Vert's name has been brought up as a possible inspiration for this new Drake flow. The OVO rapper has certainly been known to borrow from up-and-coming artists -- can this latest flow be traced to a specific rapper, or is it a more generally used rhythm among the new generation?

Listen to Drake and XXXTENTACION's tracks below and decide for yourself.
