The Game is back with his second new track in the past week, following his protest record with Jeremih, "Let Me Know," a response to the recent violence that has seemed to hog all the headlines this summer. Today's track, "Get High," will appear on the soundtrack to "Block Wars," Game's upcoming mobile video game that will attempt to reflect gang life in his hometown of Compton.
"Get High" is a trunk-rattling G-funk anthem that finds Game sounding particularly confident as he pays homage to the West Coast legends that came before him. Anyone in need of a dose of classic-sounding LA gangsta rap should cue this one up and "Get High." The "Block Wars" soundtrack is set to arrive this Friday, July 29.
