A New York girl at heart, Teyana Taylor will premiering her new album in Los Angeles at an undisclosed location. The singer/dancer will release her album tomorrow as scheduled, but not before she previews it in front of an exclusive gathering. Inspired by the blueprint mapped out by her label mates, Teyana rushed to organized her very own party, and postponed her stage performance in Los Angeles 'til the very next day. Teyana was expected to share the stage with Nas & LL Cool J at a BET concert series on 21st (today) but is now expected to perform on the same ticket as Chris Brown, SZA and Ella Mai on the 22nd. According to their box office, "Talent is subject to change."
Teyana Taylor's album will be the final installment in Kanye West's 7-track series, following Pusha T's Daytona, Kanye's solo effort Ye, Kids See Ghosts, and Nas' Nasir. Taylor signed with G.O.O.D. Music after having contributed on Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, lending her vocal talents to "Dark Fantasy," a song lauded as a haunting gospel classic in Yeezy's repertoire. Teyana released her debut VII in 2014, an album critics generally favored, with Teyana receiving high marks for displaying a wide range of musical knowledge.
