It's been quite a wild ride this past few weeks. When Kanye West announced that he would be releasing a new album executively produced by him every week for five weeks it was almost unbelievable. Against all odds, and his own last-minute working habits, we've finally reached the end of our destination: Teyana Taylor's new album, K.T.S.E.

This project marks a stark break from the previous G.O.O.D. Music albums that have been released this summer. Without even listening to the album, Teyana has already broken the sacred "7 songs" rule of Kanye's album, with the total songs on her project being eight. Secondly, since Teyana is an R&B artist following a series of bombastic rap albums, Kanye switches his production style as well.

There aren't any moments on here that soar to the sonic highs of a song like "Ghost Town" or "Feel The Love." Rather, Teyana's approach is softer, more soulful, and Kanye follows in turn. There's probably more acoustic guitar in these eight songs than Kanye has ever used on a single project, but they're still punctuated by his signature vocal samples.

The music won't put you to sleep, however. Teyana does get aggressive at points, most notably on the genre-bending closer "Wtp." Like the other G.O.O.D. Music albums, K.T.S.E. only runs just over 20 minutes, so it's definitely worth checking out, even if you've been skeptical about Kanye's summer output thus far.
