Back in November, producer and multi-instrumentalist Terrace Martin shared an album by the name of Times, and now he's dropping off videos from the project. "For Ever With You" is a smooth track that blends elements of old-school R&B, G-funk and more modern fare, and its video shows Martin in the studio crafting the intricate instrumental.
The only vocals on the track come from a vocoder that Martin deftly wields while plinking out the melody on a keyboard. We also see him meddling with drum machines, showing off his knack for crafting off-kilter, J Dilla-style beats. Martin is a master.
