Tekashi 6ix9ine forced himself into the rap game and became the most talked about artist out of the new generation. After dropping off three major singles with "KEKE," "GUMMO" and "KOODA," he set himself up properly to release his debut project, Day69. Despite the amount of hate he's received over his career, he clearly has a loyal fanbase as the project debuted in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. In addition, several of his singles have either gone platinum or gold. Now, he has another plaque to add to his collection.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's debut project, Day69, has officially gone gold, according to chartdata. The project dropped towards the end of February and he ended up releasing the deluxe edition, Day69: Graduation Day, in April which included his recent big hit, "GOTTI." It's a major feat for Tekashi and hopefully, he drops a new single soon.

The amount of attention he's gained over the past few months has clearly working out for him, despite how he gets it. The "BILLY" rapper recently teased his upcoming single which hails production from two reputable hit maker. His upcoming song, "TATI" will be co-produced by Boi-1da and DJ Spinking. He also teased several "reggaeton" sounding songs which definitely stray away from his usual sound. He's yet to announce a release date for it but we'll keep you posted.
