Tekashi 6ix9ine's war against Chief Keef and the city of Chicago might be earning him a visit from the boys in blue in the near future.

The beef started out of the blue earlier this month, when 6ix9ine and Keef started taking shots at each other on Instagram, but it seemingly progressed much quicker than anticipated, when Keef narrowly avoided gunshots outside of his New York hotel.

While 6ix9ine wasn't present in New York at the time of the shooting, that didn't stop him from insinuating that he might have had a role to play in the attempt of Keef's life, as it didn't take long after the shooting for him to continue his trolling.

As a result, 6ix9ine is reportedly under investigation by the NYPD in relation to the shooting. The two men who shot at Keef have yet to be apprehended by the police, but according to TMZ, the NYPD is wondering if 6ix9ine was the one who ordered the hit.

6ix9ine and his crew have the subjects of shooting investigations before, on New York rapper Casanova as well as Fetty Wap, but so far nothing has stuck enough to convict 6ix9ine in any of the altercations. Perhaps he's just the victim of an unfortunate number of unlucky coincidences, but he continues to find himself under the eye of the law.

At the moment, 6ix9ine is probably en route to the U.K. as part of his "World Domination" tour, so the cops might have to wait until July before they can question him.
