Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has been having an eventful 2018; the young "Gummo" artist has recently been hitting the books in the most important exam of his life, as well as reportedly landing himself a deal with Birdman's RichGang records for $15 million. It's still unclear whether the Birdman deal is legit or merely an elaborate troll, but Tekashi continues to find ways to keep his name in the headlines. While he may rub some people the wrong way, the young rapper has been earning co-signs from some of the game's tried and true; the legendary Swizz Beats recently compared him to Sticky Fingaz, and now Offset has gone and volounteered his services for the "Gummo Remix."

Yesterday, Tekashi posted a video preview of the upcoming single, announcing the release date in the caption: "SURPRISE SURPRISE ‼️‼️ FEBRUARY 23RD GUMMO REMIX WILL BE AVAILABLE THE PROJECT WILL BE SO 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 SHARE ‼️‼️‼️" This date happens to coincide with the reported release date of Tekashi's upcoming debut project, so perhaps it will be appearing on that, provided a timely release is still on track. Either way, the rainbow-haired rapper is ready to drop off an Offset-assisted "Gummo Remix," and you can catch a sample of that below.

In the clip, Tekashi soaks in a full bathtub, while the goons post up around him. The sample cuts out before Offset can get going, but from the sound of it, it should be another solid verse from the Migos rapper. Check it out below.
