The Detroit rapper is set up for a dope summer. He might not have been included on the XXL Freshman list, but 2 Chainz thinks he should have. He is said to have put in some studio time with Chance The Rapper after dropping his most recent full-length project Activated. The album is full of features, including Lil Pump, Chris Brown, and Jeezy. Lil Yachty makes a couple of appearances on the record, including his feature on "2 Vaults".
The video for the track is quite literal, yet still entertaining. Tee Grizzley throws money while grooving in a huge vault. When the lyrics "cool off" meet the ear, he's in some kind of cold room shivering while wearing a Canada Goose jacket and showing off his diamond-encrusted grills and timepieces. Lil Yachty joins the fun halfway through the video, right before his verse. The pair are placed in the quintessential hip-hop video setting, vibing in front of a mansion and a flashy ride. And of course, Hot girls are thrown into the mix, here and there.
As of late, Lil Yachty is also riding a nice wave after appearing on an unreleased Kanye West track called "Face Down." The leak has been contained, but you can hear an unofficial preview to his latest track produced by ChaseTheMoney.
