Tee Grizzley's "First Day Out" was one of the most promising rap singles in some time. With the release of "My Moment," the Detroit rapper has delivered a project that not only lives up to the thrilling standard of "FDO," but often exceeds it. While the majority of the project is masterfully produced by "FDO" collaborator Helluva, Grizzley also earns a few credits from Sonny Digital and DJ Mustard.

While Mustard may not seem like the ideal producer for Grizzley on first glance, "Country" proves he his inclusion more than warranted. As Detroit has been known to reference Bay Area sounds in its beat selection, Mustard's West Coast bounce is welcome territory. Keeping things dark and murky while supplying some blocky synth riffs and "Aye!" punctuations, Grizzley brings some nimbly propulsive flows to the beat. Like the rest of the project, his rhymes are delivered with an emotional urgency that's hard to look away from.

Quotable Lyrics:
Heard all my n---as got hit with indictments
Heard my whole city got hit with indictments
We see them Rollies and we get excited
We see them 4s and we get excited
We see that money and we get excited
