Anybody familiar with Tech N9ne's music has no doubt committed the Caribou Lou recipe to memory. With Malibu Rum, 151, and Pineapple Juice, Tech's signature beverage has spawned one of his biggest singles thus far, while remaining a mainstay in his lyrical repertoire. Don't let the tropical exterior deceive you; it's a potent libation, and abuse can and will turn you to the King Of Darkness. While one's liver may not be accustomed to abusing the Lou, it would appear that a solution is in the works. Like fellow rap veterans Run The Jewels, Tech has once again decided to bestow a themed craft brew upon the world.

Employing his Kansas City draft company Boulevard Brewing, Tech has announced the impending arrival of "Bou Lou," a beer inspired by his hit single. The beer is set to debut on June 15th at Boulevardia, a popular KC street festival. Apparently, the wheat beer will feature a mix of pineapple and coconut flavoring. Should reception be favorable, it's entirely possible that "Bou Lou" will undergo a wider release.

“This is an alliance that had to happen,” Boulevard Brewing president Jeff Krum announced via press release. “Working with Tech and the Strange Music team has been a real privilege. Their creativity, attention to detail and commitment to excellence made it clear to all of us why they’ve achieved such remarkable and sustained success.”

Any beer drinkers in the house?
