What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? The ongoing feud between 50 "Fofty" Cent and Teairra "I Ain't Got It" Mari is a study in exactly that. Though 50 Cent may be hoping that doubling down on "the law is the law" is enough to sway Teairra's steely resolve, she has remained stalwart in her efforts to fight Jackson's continued legal attacks. Today, The Blast has provided an update on their ongoing court battle, which recently found 50 calling her out for missing a date. As it happens, Mari actually had a viable reason for missing the court date, one that she has since presented before a judge.

Mari claims that she ultimately missed a court date to attend her grandfather's funeral in Detroit, providing a copy of the funeral program. As it happens, TJ “Doc” Murphy's funeral took place on April 20th, which coincides with the weekend of the hearing. As Mari was initially a no-show, 50 opted to take a harder stance, requesting an additional $25,000 in attorney fees. Mari has clapped back, reportedly claiming that Fif has provided little that proves him worthy of being awarded further.

The Blast's report concludes stating that Mari has requested to appear at a rescheduled hearing at the end of May. Who'd have thought this petty feud would have gone this far?
