Twin Cities top dawg Taylor J is back with another powerful cut off his upcoming mixtape, The Wakeup. His new track, "Juice," is produced by frequent collaborator Scott Supreme, producer of Taylor's December single "Side Effects." "Juice" was played last night by Some Guy Named Ty on Shade 45's The Drive, included in the show's weekly top 5 rundown, along with tracks from Big Sean and Ye Ali, and now, HNHH has got the official "Juice" premiere.

"Juice" is a smooth, slow-burning track that finds Taylor relaying the intoxicating effects of late-night encounters into his usual spurts of detailed storytelling. He understands why women might fall for him so easily; "Juice leave a stain on her soul," he raps. It's exciting to see Taylor take some R&B inspiration and drop off a mood-setting track like this.

Quotable Lyrics

I've been globe-trottin', straight ballin'
Shootin' in the gym when you was callin'
I would never press decline on you
She feel the wine, and now she want the juice
