Tay Keith hit a few substantial milestones this year. The producer scored an academic achievement by graduating from Middle Tennesee State University. He also earned his first #1 record during the very last week of his bachelor's degree. The artist posted a few pictures and videos in celebration of his accomplishments.
The latest video features a speech from one of his mentors.
"On behalf of Warner Chappell, Big John, myself and the entire company, I just wanted to come down and let you know how proud of you we are. You're setting a positive example for people to follow you. We couldn't be more proud of you. This says a lot about the man you were raised to be just committing to something and sticking to it. You sat in our office from day one and told us that you were gonna graduate. You did it."
He ends his speech referring to Tay's "Sicko Mode": "This is great, but this is your biggest number one right here."
The clip was captioned with gratitude: "Thanks to my family, my lawyer @myattybernie and my mentors @ryanpress215 @warnerchappellmusicfor supporting me yesterday for 2 of biggest accomplishments in my life yet my bachelors and #1 record 💯"
