Taraji Henson is starring in a freakafied version of the 2000 romantic comedy, What Women Want. The upcoming production, What Men Want, is a gender-flipped take on the original premise in which Taraji’s character can hear men’s inner-thoughts.

The film boasts a star-studded cast that includes Tracy Morgan, Brian “The Boz” Bosworth, Max Greenfield, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Aldis Hodge. It also includes cameos from Shaquille O'Neal, Mark Cuban, and Erykah Badu who is the catalyst of the main character’s plight.

Badu plays the role of a psychic who offers her counsel to Henson’s character: “I can help you connect with men. Why don’t we have some tea.” The woman accepts the cup but comments on how the drink “smells like dirt.” The psychic responds, “Oh, that’s just jasmine tea if you don’t count the weed and the peyote and the crack.”

The drink sends the truth seeker into a spiral that lands her in the hospital where she experiences her psychic powers unknowingly. It is only when she interacts with her assistant that she realized what the tea had caused. Her assistant was in shock after she recounted her visit to the psychic. His response to her drinking the mystical tea: “I thought black people stopped drinking tea after Get Out.” LOL.

The film hits theaters on January 11, 2019.
