T-Pain is on a roll. After delivering "Let Me Through" yesterday featuring Lil Wayne, the rappa ternt sanga is actually back to rapping, without the help of any audio effect (auto-tune). In a day and age where auto-tuned voices have become a dime a dozen, T-Pain decides to lay it to rest (at least momentarily) for the title track off his long-awaited Stoicville album.

T-Pain told The Fader he's currently 127 songs deep into Stoicville. This particular track he calls "a quick tell-all—airing everything out and letting my past be the past and basically starting anew." He vents about his tribulations for a good six minutes, over a flute-riddled, minimal instrumental.

If you missed another none-auto-tune moment from T-Pain, when he performed for NPR's Tiny Desk series, watch that below.

Quotable Lyrics

The same nigga that told me I had a hit
Charged me 300 to put it off in his mix
Now suicide lookin' better than hittin' a lick
'Cause the whole time he knew that I was livin' out my whip
But now I see him, and I can't even take it
'Cause he walk up to me and say boy I knew you was gunna make it
Like motherfucker, do you just not recall?
I needed help and you just left me sitting on my balls
