Fans have been patiently waiting for the release of new music from Swae Lee for a long time now. Back in June, he revealed some details about his upcoming solo album Swaecation, before returning the following month in July to inform fans that the long awaited Sremmlife 3 album with Slim Jxmmi was also almost complete. "We got a whole Sremmlife 3 next project coming soon," said Swae. "We bout done with that mug already. Bout to wrap it up....We might just throw out some like, turn-up songs.”

Unfortunately, no further details on either of the projects have arrived since they were first announced, other than their single “Perplexin' Pegasus,” but Swae Lee has definitely been in the studio working hard on new music. After being spotted working with OVO crooner Roy Woods on something new back in August, and later sharing a couple snippets of upcoming music, the ATL rapper decided to tease fans once again Monday night by sharing some more in-studio footage of him working on music.

“Recording vibes 🔥🔥🔥 redoing this song for the people” he captioned his post on IG. He didn’t clarify where the song will end up on, or what it’s called, but at the very least you can get a strong idea of what it’s going to sound like. There also looks to be King Louie- look alike next him in the studio, but don’t think it’s really him.

This all surfaces on the heels of rumors that the two super stars, Swae Lee & Slim Jxmmi, were breaking up Rae Sremmurd, which thankfully won’t be happening. "Fake News!" said Jxmmi in response to a question about rumors of a Sremm split. "That was just a myth. We've got many, many, many more projects coming. Many more songs coming, many more features coming. It's just the beginning.”

Check out Swae Lee working in the studio (below) and keep your eyes peeled for some new music to hopefully arrive sooner than later. While you wait, be sure to check out our August/September 2016 cover story with Rae Sremmurd if you’ve missed it right here.
