The fourth episode of Game of Thrones has leaked.
Earlier this week hackers obtained 1.5 terabytes of stolen data from HBO, containing scripts for upcoming Game of Thrones episodes which they published online.
It wasn't until today that an actual, unreleased GoT episode has leaked.
The Verge has reported the upcoming fourth episode of season 7, which is supposed to premiere this Sunday at 9pm EST on HBO, has leaked online, albeit in a low-quality format.
According to the report, the episode four leak is not part of the recent HBO security breach, but rather a security breach at HBO distribution partner Star India.
A Star India spokesperson said,
"We take this breach very seriously and have immediately initiated forensic investigations at our and the technology partner's end to swiftly determine the cause." "This is a grave issue and we are taking appropriate legal remedial action."
