A trial date for Suge Knight's murder case for the fatal hit-and-run in 2015 been set, TMZ reports. The jury selection for the case will begin on Monday. The jurors will have to figure out whether Knight was intentionally trying to run over Terry Carter or if he was trying to flee. 

In January 2015, Suge Knight's red truck pulling up to Tam's Burger in Compton while Dr. Dre was filming something in relation to the NWA biopic, "Straight Outta Compton." Once he got to Tam's, he confronted Cle "Bone" Sloane immediately. Sloane was holding down security duties for the film.

Footage of the incident surfaced shortly after. Suge's seen putting the car in reverse and then knocking Sloan down before he moved forward. He ended up running over Sloan again before taking Terry Carter down and ultimately, killing him.

There have been numerous delays and complications in the case. Suge Knight's been behind bars this he was arrested for the fatal hit-and-run. He went to the hospital for blood clots while he was in jail. Later on, his former lawyers were arrested for trying to bribe witnesses in Suge's murder case. In addition, Suge was also indicted for allegedly making death threats towards director F. Gary Gary and on top of it all, his mother passed away earlier this year.

The trial, which starts on Monday, will determine whether Suge was trying to kill Carter on purpose or not.
