Suge Knight has been moved to a Los Angeles hospital for unknown reasons.
The story of Suge Knight is well documented. Largely understood to be a one of hip-hop's most calculating and notorious villains, Suge has tangled with many prominent rappers, including Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. In 2015, his vendetta reached a boiling point near the set of Straight Outta Compton, and Suge found himself arrested after a fatal hit-and-run claimed the life of Terry Carter. Since then, Suge has been awaiting trial for murder, spending his time alternating between prison and the courthouse.
Now, it would appear that Suge has undergone yet another change of scenery, and not necessarily for the better. TMZ reports that Suge has been hospitalized, and has been under doctor's care for two straight days. Apparently, Suge was moved from the Los Angeles County Jail on Tuesday morning, and brought into a nearby hospital. As of now, the reason for his hospitalization remains unclear; perhaps it has something to do with his history of blood clots, which have plagued him in the past. The article also notes that Suge recently passed out in court, and while that may very well be unrelated, it certainly paints a troublesome picture.
While the story remains in development, all we can really do is speculate. Stay tuned for more news on Suge's hospitalization, and the ongoing trial.
