Styles P is teaming up with PETA to promote the benefits of a plant-based diet, the kind dinosaurs persisted on. This afternoon, the animal-advocacy group unveiled their new Winter campaign spearheaded by the iconic NY rapper.
In case you didn't know, November is World Vegan Month, and Styles co-owns a juice bar in BK frequented by people of the Vegan persuasion, but not limited to the "lifestyle" crowd. So in essence, he and PETA are a match made in heaven -- since it benefits his business plan to get folks on a greener path.
Within the opening seconds of the promo video, Styles P opens up about his shifting outlook on life, as it pertains to all things green."A plant-based diet kinda makes your soul lighter," he openly states. "I had a newfound respect for all life." Later on in the video, Styles P talks about his "Juices For Life" initiative, and how the community work is informed by his childhood experience in Yonkers, New York, where quality produce was basically not an option to low-income households in the surrounding area. He hopes to right those wrongs, one step at a time.
