After spending quite some time on Epic Records, Stro made the creative decision to ditch his label and sign with Nas' Mass Appeal records. The young New Yorker has since been building his clout by dropping off bar after bar on freestyles over tracks such as 2 Chainz’s “Statute of Limitations” and ScHoolboy Q’s “Numb Numb Juice.“ Now, Stro has teamed up with producer Kenneth English for the single "Mansions."
"Mansions" features a melodious instrumental that soothes listeners with vintage sounding keys and a buzzing synth. Stro attacks the beat with a slow flow and lyrics about finding motivation. "Mansions" was released in Stro's Grade A Fridays series, and is his first solo outing since “I’m Up." Stro appears to be going for more a radio-friendly single with this one, but it's still a smooth banger you can play in any scenario.
