Resale sites, both physical and digital, are an option for shoppers willing to shell out a little more than the original asking price in order to gain access to clothing they may have missed during its initial launch. Strictlypreme, a website being heralded as the world's first exclusively-Supreme marketplace, is trying to make it easier for consumers to sift through the myriad of third-party sellers hawking the brand's goods online.
This newly-established website is taking valiant strides to ensure authenticity, as their employees moderate the product that is eventually put to sale on their marketplace to ensure that each piece is an original Supreme creation. Staff members are said to have years experience in finding, buying, and selling items to individuals globally. Their servers ensure an ease-of-use that spreads out across three big digital mediums including computers, tablets and cellphones (an app is currently in the works.) Prices can be converted to pounds, USD, Japanese Yen and Euros, alongside standard PayPal integration.
Founder Jonathan Graham recently spoke out about the stigmas plaguing resale marketplaces, noting how "like it or not, the limited edition nature of Supreme means that the reselling opportunity is always going to be there. That being said, however, Strictlypreme was not set up with the intention of just helping people make an extra $20 USD on a Supreme tee, but with the primary goal of creating a diverse and easily navigated Supreme inventory. We want all kinds of people to use Strictlypreme, as we offer the ability to buy anything posted on our site, whether they are interested in reselling or finding a unique item that will actually be worn and enjoyed. Personally, I like the idea of providing a way for people to find stuff that they will actually love to be seen in or add to their collection!"
