Although he's released mixtapes and collaborative EPs with Ed Sheeran and Travis Barker in the interim, it's been almost four years since Yelawolf dropped his debut album, Radioactive. Today, he finally drops a follow-up, the more rootsy, rock-influenced Love Story. Led off by the singles "Box Chevy V," "Till It's Gone," "Whiskey Bottle" and "American You," the full, 18-track project is now streamable on Spotify.
Eminem is the only guest, showing up on the previously-leaked "Best Friend," and leaving Yela to carry the rest of the album on his own. He manages this by mixing his rapping with a little bit more singing than we're used to from him, as well as fleshing out the instrumentals into more full-bodied products.
