Tonight brought another bi-weekly edition of OVO Sound Radio. Episode 31 was hosted by OVO producer Boi-1da as well as his frequent production partner Vinylz, who's also been one of Drake's most entrusted beatmakers. Both mixes are worth listening to, with Vinylz running through the past 20 years of New York hip-hop and dropping a few of his latest hits, and Boi-1da setting the scene in Toronto with an OVO-heavy array of memorable tunes. The show started with an intro from Oliver El-Khatib as well as the premiere of a new Popcaan song that was played in the commercial for the OVO Air Jordan 12 Retro & Apparel Collection, which was released at the start of the month.

Vinylz dropped a new Desiigner track that he produced, "Outlet," which is hosted by DJ Spinking. The clip of the song Vinylz played consists mostly of grunting and his signature spastic machine gun ad-libbing, but the beat surely is riveting. In fact, the whole snippet feels refreshingly different. Desiigner begins rapping for the final 20 seconds or so, exercising an oddly catchy flow with equally unintelligible lyrics.

Early into his set, Boi-1da premiered a new track from recent Atlantic signee Joyner Lucas, "Tapdance," which he produced along with Vinylz. The track shows Lucas as a sharp lyricist and an unhinged freestyler. Listen here
