StoneZu is the Philly-based duo of rappers Stonelove J and Taizu. They've just released the first track, "BurnØutz," off their upcoming EP, A Series of Calculated Trips. The new track is produced by Young Wave Chef, and the upcoming project is produced by Omen, the Grammy-winning producer who has made a few beats with Noah "40" Shebib, including Drake's "Shut It Down."
They describe their music as "mellow stoner vibes with high-energy antics," and, here, the mellowness comes from Young Wave Chef, which is strange yet intoxicating next to the fierce back and forth between Stonelove and Taizu.
