Stella McCartney and Adidas have today launched a brand new, limited edition, vegan-friendly version of the iconic Stan Smith, which is constructed of vegan leather for the first time ever.
"When I met Stan Smith years ago, I thought he was so chic and such a gentleman and that his sneaker was so iconic. I thought that a collaboration between him, me and @adidasoriginals just made so much sense," says McCartney.
The collaborative Stan Smiths feature perforated stars on the side panel creating the Three Stripes branding, and the original portrait of Stan Smith on one sneaker tongue, and Stella on the other. Additional details include Stella's logo on the heel along with a red and blue polyester patch and her name debossed on the lateral heel.
The Stella McCartney x Adidas Stan Smith is currently available for pre-order via stellamccartney.com and in-store for the retail price of $325.
