"Detroit Vs. Everybody" has gradually made its way to gold status, and the song's producer, Static Selektah, is pretty excited about the certification. While the original was obviously a Michigan-centric record, Static invited a couple of New Yorkers to take on the instrumental and put on for their city in honor of the newly gold record.
The DJ went to an OG and a newcomer, recruiting Joell Ortiz and Joey Bada$$ to deliver 16s to start off his radio show. As expected both emcees proved their ability to go up against the many greats who have already added their verses to the instrumental.
