Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War will mark the beginning of the end of phase three, the final set of movies dedicated to the infinity stones. Although the first stone premiered in the first Captain America flick, we've seen every other stone (besides the soul stone) sprawled out across a decade of movies. Speaking with io9, Kevin Feige (the mastermind behind the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe) revealed that the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel will be the first film in phase four.

“We start filming early July,” Feige revealed, which only shows that Marvel has no plans of quitting as fatigue of the Avengers has yet to set in. “We film in London," he continued.  "We shot first film in Atlanta. And we shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe.”

Although that is all Feige will reveal, it does give away two things. One, which we already know, is that Peter Parker will survive Avengers: Infinity War (and if he is "killed off," somehow he will be revived). Second, whatever happens in the next two Avengers films will force Spider-Man to leave his home in New York. Sounds foreboding.

The untitled Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel debuts on July 5, 2019.
