Marvel fans are restless. It's October and we have yet to receive an official title for Avengers 4, and the Captain Marvel trailer was underwhelming, to say the least. Not that the adventures of Carol Danvers doesn't seem interesting enough, it's just that fans are still reeling from the death of their favorite characters in Avengers: Infinity War. One thing has been able to satiate Marvel fans in the meantime though are set photos and footage from Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is currently filming in Europe.

Fans have been treated to a first glance at Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio and two new Spidey Suits so far, but new footage from the set may hint at a deep bond between MJ and Peter Parker. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Marvel took the original Spider-Man plot of the villain finding out Spidey's real name. In the first film, Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin discerns Pete's identity after he lies about a cut he received. In Homecoming, Michael Keaton's Vulture figures out Peter Parker is Spider-Man by connecting the high pitch voice and antics of the young hero to the high-school student. Once Spidey sends Vulture to jail, he inadvertently ruins his crush's life, since she was the villain's daughter. Now that the Peter Parker and Liz relationship has come to an end, it makes way for MJ.

Played by Zendaya, MJ in the MCU actually stands for Michelle Jones. The name change and ethnic switch of the character has some fans up in arms, but the rest of the world trusts Marvel. New footage of Zendaya and Tom Holland on set hints that the former knows Spider-Man's real identity. Although I cannot hear it, fans claim that you can hear MJ refer to the in-costume Spider-Man as "Peter" in the footage. Can you hear it?
